International Festival of Young Fashion Designers of Dinard 2014
Once again , Dominique Damien REHEL orchestrated the International Festival of Young Fashion Designers of Dinard. Ten finalists presented their collections to a professional jury * , coordinated by Muriel Piaser Consulting, chaired by Ece Ege , the creator of the Dice Kayek brand.
The event began Friday evening with Jean- Claude Jitrois and presentation of ten winners and their creations around a given theme : the reinterpretation and embroidery blue and white smocks . Symbol of Made in Britain and France , were sold Saturday to benefit the association » Orphéopolis . »
It is the young Korean , Sung Eun Jang , who won the special prize » Sailor of the Armor- Lux » , under the patronage of the brand and embroiderer Pascal Jaouen .
Saturday the Ecluse beach has received hundreds of people attending parades partner brands (Armor -Lux , Cache Cache, Bonobo and Seafolly ) as well as the ten winners .
The suspense of the winners was anonced in the evening at the Palace of Arts, during a ceremony hosted by the journalist Marie- Christiane Marek , and show of Franscesco Smalto and Film by Marie Schuller representing the work of Dice Kayek .
Grand Prix Women Dinard City of Paris , with more than € 40,000 , was won by the French duo , Laetitia Baqué and Victor Molinié the school Duperré Paris with a collection entitled » Vagabond » mind mixing sportswear with materials accompanied by a technical and embroidery work .
Grand Prix Dinard man , almost € 30,000 was awarded to the French , Mael Larcher . Formed ESMOD , he based his work on the mixture codes sportwear those of conventional cloakroom. The advantage: the ability to transform clothes , for example , a jacket backpack.
Surprise of the evening : the partner Messe Frankfurt France through Mr. Michael Scherpe impressed by the collection and work from natural materials of Marie- Morgane Dumont , wanted under the support of his group development sustainable , given a special incentive for an amount of € 3,000 and invite the young French to present her work at the next Texworld living alongside the winner of the Grand Male fashion prices.
Dinard again proved the importance of this kind of event to reveal young creative talents and give them a significant boost for the start of their careers.
